Liege
Belgian Wit
Liege is an exceptional strain for Belgian witbier, producing powerful phenolics that create herb and spice aromatics perfectly complementing the traditional additions of orange peel and coriander. It delivers a moderately dry finish that pairs beautifully with oats and wheat, building creamy body and mouthfeel. A strong top-cropping strain with broad temperature tolerance (16-24C), Liege also works well for saisons and Belgian IPAs where phenolic spice character is desired. Moderate clove-like phenolics add complexity without overwhelming the base beer.
