Ghent
Belgian
Ghent is a uniquely high-flocculating Belgian strain that produces good phenolic character balanced with fruity esters. Unlike most Belgian strains, Ghent drops bright quickly, making it ideal for brewers who want Belgian complexity without extended conditioning times. Delicate fruit esters and subtle spicy notes develop with temperature, with neither character dominating the other. An excellent choice for Belgian blondes, tripels, and pale ales where clarity matters as much as flavour.
