BSY-A006
Antwerp
Belgian Trappist
Antwerp is a traditional Belgian abbey strain bred for high-gravity brewing, with an exceptional alcohol tolerance reaching up to 15% ABV. It produces rich fruity esters of cherry, plum, and pear balanced with moderate spicy phenolics, creating the classic Trappist character. Medium flocculation results in clear, drinkable beer without extended conditioning. Expect some sulfur during active fermentation that clears with age, leaving complex, layered flavours. The ideal choice for dubbels, tripels, and Belgian strong ales.
